Severe acne can be devastating.  Why not trying using a natural acne treatment to control your zits and pimples?  Combine acne medications with natural treatments to get the best benefit and to protect against major breakouts.

There are several types of acne, including acne vulgaris, acne rosacea, and cystic acne.

Acne vulgaris affects the face, upper back, and chest. It consists of blackheads, cysts, papules, and pustules. It affects teenagers especially during puberty.

Acne rosacea affects the nose, forehead, and cheeks. You will notice red pustular lesions in those areas.

Cystic acne forms into cysts or nodules. Lesions fill with pus, become swollen and can be quite painful.
So what is acne? What causes it? Acne is defined as a skin condition which affects the sebaceous follicle.  The medical profession has decided. recently, that acne is caused by a hormonal imbalance.  They had thought that it was a result of clogged pores. They really aren't sure what causes it.

Acne is very common.   It is normally found on the face, neck, chest and back.  There is no known acne cure, so the best thing to is to control it.

Teenage acne affects over 80% of adolescents.

Although acne scars may require laser treatments, one of the best ways to control acne is naturally.  Natural treatment involves changing your diet, and herbal nutrients to cleanse your internal organs.  Your skin is the largest organ of your body.

Though you will get some relief, prescription medication and chemical treatments containing  benzoyl are just not natural.  You should cleanse your body rather than just masking the problem.

Your body is regulated by many hormones which keep everything balanced and working efficiently.  The hormone regulation system requires  nutrients and vitamins to work properly.  Popping a vitamin all by itself won't get rid of your acne, any more than popping a zit, but combined with a comprehensive program it can help control and get rid of your acne.

Zinc, especially zinc sulfate can help prevent acne.   It can be applied directly to the zits, and also taken internally.  Studies have shown that taking zinc internally is as effective as most of the antibiotic treatments.

Some prescription medications are quite beneficial and combined with one or more natural remedies you can be well on the way to a clean and clear skin of a model.
