:cheer:
Thank you for the advice. I actually have written a short story children\'s book and have not tried to get it published yet. I am now working on another. I finished my first draft onit. It\'s beginning to be a short story series. I am very excited but I am still unsure of how to get them published.
I would appreciate any advice.
Sincerely,
Deborah Hahs

Do a line edit of your work and then send 10 copies to family/friends who like to read. Only half will actually do it and those 5 will be able to give suggestions/comments. Check out the writers market for publishers and query the publishers who print short stories. Mention in your query that you have written 2 books and are working on the rest of the series. You can also send your manuscript to publishers depending on their preference. I am currently looking for an agent and also sending my material to publishers.

Copyright question

This may be a really stupid question but do you need to have your writings
copyrighted before you try to have them published ?

:cheer: thank you for your advice, I really needed it. I have just recently finished typing up my own book and I don\'t know what to do after I correct any errors. The main thing that\'s bugging me is the fact that I\'m only 13, and I think that gives me a disadvantage. :(
