We have just launched a website entitled bookhitch.com (www.bookhitch.com) that helps authors and publishers increase awareness of their books, for free. Meaning that they can list their books with our site, along with key search words etc. Readers can then search for their book, read about it, and click on a link to buy it (provided by the author...usually their own website, or their publishers). This site is also beneficial to readers because they can find books that they would only normally find by visiting numerous bookstores and online web pages. It also allows readers to buy books directly from authors and publishers, thus rewarding the people who count and helping to cut out the middleman (in most cases).
