Go to showmemyebooks.com -I get great ebooks from there. I hear they may be accepting ebooks in the future (if not already) and it could be a good way to get your name out there.
At the very minimum, they are a division of paramountinternet.com that does web hosting -actually, maybe you could join their _link_ exchange and have a basic website promoting your books and take advantage of their web hosting at the same time? They don't charge for their _link_ exchange.
Good luck!

Hey, I just have a quick question.
I'm writing a book (about half done) and I've started thinking about publishing it when it's finished and edited, ect.ect.
The only thing is, I recently moved to Costa Rica, and I'm not sure how to go about publishing from a foreign country.
Do publishers or agents even take on new authors from different countries?
Any advice would be great!
Thanks in advance
There's an online Self Publishing company that allows you to publish even if you are in Costa Rica. Also, publishing is free, you only pay when you order a book. I'm doing publishing and PDF support for some authors there. Check the website at http://www.lulu.com. |

Hi Clare,
Of course they do!
I'd like to suggest...
Check out these two resource books
- 2008 Writer's Market
- 2008 Guide to Literary Agents
And know agents are never to be paid
upfront. I learned these things for
myself as an author here in Atlanta
