Don’t be concerned about hurting my feelings. Love it or hate it. It’s all the same to me. I welcome all feedback. Be it good, bad, or ugly.

One small note: This detective story is a parody. It’s cheesy, cliché, and over the top. It is intended to be. With that caveat in mind read and laugh.

Wow. I read your current project (the second _link_) and it's amazing. I give it four stars, and would have given it five, except for one small thing. Your writing is fabulous, but in your de_script_ions, you tend to use a lot of _meta_phors. While there's nothing wrong with _meta_phors (I love using them in my own writing, and they add to the de_script_ion a lot) you have to be careful not to use too many. Another thing--you often grouped adjectives in groups of three--e.g. "dark, hushed, and mysterious." (Not sure if that was your actual wording, it's just an example.) Other than that, the book was wonderful--there were a few instances where you had a missing comma or repeated a word or phrase, but those are minor issues that can be resolved in editing. If you tweak your de_script_ive writing a little, you'll have a fabulous book.
By "tweak" I don't mean that you should remove any de_script_ion, just be careful with your phrasing. You have perfect amounts of detail. I love it.
