Alex was a complete idiot. He fumbled through his lecture notes, trying to find even an inkling of the information that Mr. McLand had given. After a sigh and a moment of disappointment, Alex collected what he thought he knew about World Religions, and proceeded to write a very thorny, uninformed thesis.

what a fabulous first sentence! Youve certainly got the knack of setting the scene. I loved it!

Wish I could do that at 43b never mind at 14!
