Im 12ish, and i write a lot. This is the beginning of one of the stories that i started writing. I usually end up stopping around right here because i lose hope. I know i need a lot of work, but i'm not sure if i have enough potential, any comments?:
“You’ve been away from home for two years; I wonder what it’s going to be like when you go back. I mean, you left everyone without saying goodbye. You and your family just packed up one day and left. I bet it’ll be slightly awkward.” Hannah had to point out. Hannah’s hair was pinned out of her face, and her perky blonde curls were down just past her shoulders. Her small form was standing around only 5’2, tapping her foot and gazing up at me. “Geez, stare much Rose?” She laughed. Then started walking again, expecting me to follow. I followed, then started “Sorry, I’m just thinking. What if I can’t go back? Like, what if I’m not accepted anymore there?” I stopped walking, and looked behind me at a group of people talking about random nonsense that suddenly reminded me of home. Or what used to be home. Hannah tugged on my arm, and pulled me back into reality. “It’ll be fine, I promise. Now YOU just have to promise to visit me in the summer.” She giggled. “And every weekend.” She added with a sly smirk. “Oh, believe me I will. It’s not like I will have any friends there. They’ll all hate me.” I told her. I’m probably over exaggerating, but it’ll be close. She stopped walking, because we were in front of my house, “What makes you say that?”
