I don't think your dreams are to far away! I also have a very stong, inexplicable passion for writing. I could write all day and night and be perfectly happy. When I write, I don't have to think about what's going to happen next, because I am in the story and I can feel it and I know. My fingers are flying over the keyboard and my mind is overflowing with ideas and thoughts and dialougue and exciting scenes and beginnings and endings. And I could write until I was out of ideas and take a break for a day and I would get another idea because they overflow in my head.
Did I mention--I've just started junior high this year? Age shouldn't limit you. Nothing should limit you! The sky can be the limit but if you feel like it you can go beyond that!
About your fear of rejection: Don't let it stop you from writing. I write because I love it. Some things I think would be great books, others are just stories I've written because I have a passion for writing. If you really want to get published, don't let the fear of rejection stop you.
