Book about being a Muslim Soldier in Iraq 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hello everyone,

I was in the second rotation of troops into Iraq (04-05) and happen to me a Muslim who served in a unit that largely came from rural Virginia. I really want to write this book to help people understand the war and what it means to be a Muslim living in America. I don't know anything about the process of publishing a book.

I live in South East Asia right now and will be going back home in 2 months. Is there any way I can get a deal for a book with only providing a general summary of what it will be about and the assurance that I already have about 150 pages of notes from while I was there to write from. I would like to get assurance that their is someone who believes this can sell and can give me a deadline or something so I can leave the States again and write somewhere rather isolated as I am living now.

Any thoughts on what process I should take?

I went to a good school near D.C and got really good grades and can get great recommendations.
