Helion: The Exiled God - Volume 1
Prologue: The Fall of Helio
The sky above the Kingdom of Helio burned with crimson light as war raged within the royal palace. Hritwik Helion, a child of only eight, clung to his father’s cloak, his heart pounding as the sounds of battle echoed through the great halls. Aldric Helion, the king, stood firm, his blade drawn as he faced his treacherous brother—Veyron Helion.
“Hritwik, you must leave,” Aldric said urgently, his eyes filled with sorrow and determination. “Take your sisters and run.”
“But, Father—” Hritwik started, his small hands trembling.
“There is no time!” Aldric roared. “You must survive. Live… for your sisters. For our family’s future.”
A sharp pain shot through Hritwik’s chest as he saw his father turn to face the enemy. Veyron smirked, his blade gleaming in the dim light.
“This throne was never meant for you, brother.”
Aldric didn’t respond—he simply charged, engaging in a final battle to protect his children.
Selene, the eldest sister, grabbed Hritwik’s hand and pulled him away. Behind them, Lyra and Aurora followed, their faces pale with fear. As they ran, Hritwik heard the clash of swords and his father’s final cry before the palace doors slammed shut behind them.

Chapter 1: A Thousand Years Later
On Earth, in the year 2025, Hritwik Helion was no longer that scared child. He had spent centuries mastering his powers, adapting to human life, and hiding from the past that still haunted him.
Living under the guise of a billionaire philanthropist, he had built a life for himself. His sisters had gone their separate ways, choosing to live in peace, but he never stopped preparing for the day he would return to Helio.

For a thousand years, he trained in secret, watching over humanity from the shadows. He saved them countless times—preventing disasters, pushing scientific advancements, and even stopping wars before they could begin. Yet, his sisters resented his efforts. They had long abandoned humanity, believing them to be beyond redemption.
But everything changed when Hritwik detected an unfamiliar presence in Earth's orbit. Something—or someone—was watching them.

Chapter 2: The Gathering of the Helion Siblings
Hritwik stood in his private estate, staring at the holographic display of the unknown ships lingering at the edge of Earth’s atmosphere. He knew what this meant—war was coming.
One by one, he called his sisters.
Selene arrived first. As the eldest, she had always been the voice of reason among them. She was now a schoolteacher, living a quiet life with her human husband.
Then came Lyra, the reclusive artist who had isolated herself from humanity, her heart hardened by centuries of disappointment.
Finally, Aurora arrived. She had once been the most compassionate of them, but time had changed her. Now, she shared Lyra’s disdain for humanity.
“I assume you all know why I called you here,” Hritwik said, his gaze sharp.
Selene nodded solemnly. “You sense them, don’t you?”
“The Zoltron,” he confirmed. “A warlike race. If they invade, Earth will be helpless against them.”
Lyra crossed her arms. “Then let them burn.”
Selene shot her a look. “Lyra!”
“What?” Lyra scoffed. “You can’t seriously be considering fighting for them.”
Aurora joined in. “She’s right. We’ve lived in peace for so long, Hritwik. Why should we risk everything for a race that never learns?”
Hritwik clenched his fists. “Because it’s the right thing to do.”
Aurora’s eyes burned with anger. “And what about us? What about our family? Are you really willing to risk our safety for humans?”
“Enough!” Selene interrupted. “We are not here to argue. We need to decide—together.”
The room fell into tense silence.
Lyra suddenly smirked. “I should’ve expected this from you, Hritwik. You’re not even one of us.”
Selene’s eyes widened. “Lyra, don’t—”
Hritwik frowned. “What are you talking about?”
Lyra’s words were like daggers. “You’re not our real brother.”
Hritwik’s breath caught in his throat. “What?”
“You always thought we had different mothers but the same father, didn’t you?” Lyra said coldly. “You were wrong.”
Selene stepped forward, her voice firm. “That doesn’t change anything, Hritwik. You are our brother. You always will be.”
But Hritwik barely heard her. The revelation hit him like a storm. His whole life, he had believed he was a true Helion. Now, doubts clouded his mind.
Aurora, seeing his shaken state, softened. “We may not share the same blood, but we were raised by the same father. I have always loved you like my own brother. But we can’t let this war bring us down. We can’t lose each other like we lost him.”
Hritwik looked at her, then at Lyra. His mind was reeling, but one thing remained clear—no matter his origins, his father died to protect them. And he wouldn’t let that sacrifice be in vain.
“I don’t care where I came from,” he said, his voice regaining its strength. “I will fight to protect this world, and if I have to fight you to do it—so be it.”
Aurora’s eyes narrowed. “Are you saying you could beat us?”
Hritwik met her gaze with fire in his eyes. “You haven’t trained in centuries. I have.”
Lyra scoffed. “Then let’s see if you’ve gotten strong enough.”
Selene stepped between them. “Stop! We are family!”
Aurora shook her head. “Then leave with us. We’ll take you away—by force if we have to.”
Hritwik’s jaw clenched. “You can try.”

Chapter 3: A Clash of Ideals
As the tension reached its peak, the Zoltron fleet inched closer to Earth. The Helion siblings stood divided—one side ready to fight for humanity, the other willing to abandon them to save their own.
And as the first warship entered Earth’s orbit, the battle of gods was about to begin.
