UPDATE: A2R Posting Schedule, Book 1 Ending Soon (on Patreon), and What Comes Next

  Hi my dear readers,

Many apologies for my silence here (on Patreon).

I know the story is actively updating on Royal Road, while things have lagged a little on this side. Life has been busy behind the scenes, and I have been juggling a lot, but I am back with a proper update.

Assassin Archmage Reborn (A2R) is now close to 180,000 words posted here, and Book 1 is nearing its end. We are only a few chapters away from the finale.

Over the next few days, chapters will start dropping again as I work on them in the background while handling real life demands.

What happens after Book 1 ends?

I plan to take a reasonably long break before I begin posting Book 2, roughly a month or so. The reason is simple. I want time to edit, polish, and strengthen Book 2 properly, especially with the feedback I have received. I will not be able to implement every suggestion, yet I will be reviewing what helps the story most and making improvements where they matter.

I also want to say thank you to everyone who has stuck with A2R so far. The story has received love, and it has also received pushback. Early on, it took a rough hit with ratings, then slowly recovered. Lately it has hovered around the 3.80 to 3.89 range. To everyone who has supported it, rated fairly, left kind words, or simply kept reading quietly, thank you. You genuinely help more than you know, especially on the days when motivation starts to wobble.

  About the AI accusations

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

I want to address this once, calmly, because it keeps coming up.

I use AI as an editing tool, not as a writing tool. It helps me catch typos, tighten phrasing, and spot mistakes I miss. That is all. The story itself is written by me.

I also understand why this topic is sensitive. A lot of authors are being accused lately, sometimes fairly, sometimes unfairly, and the whole discussion has become intense across the site. I cannot control what people assume, and I accept that some will still be upset even after this clarification. I just wanted to be honest about my process so the readers who care about transparency are not left guessing.

Now, back to the fun part.

What you will be reading during the Book 2 break?

When Book 1 finishes and the break begins, I do not plan to disappear. I will be posting another story during that window, one I have already written, and I will share more details soon. I will start by dropping early access chapters here (on Patreon), then, after I build a solid cushion (minimum 10 advance chapters, with another 10 set aside for launch), I will roll it out on Royal Road.

It is not LitRPG. It is a progression fantasy without magic, with a focus on kingdom building, military strategy, and that grounded, gritty sense of momentum. I think of it as kingdom building fantasy.

I am sharing it because I love it, and I would rather give you something to read than go completely quiet while I work on Book 2 behind the scenes. I am not expecting it to blow up. I just hope it finds the readers it is meant for.

I know posting two stories side by side is heavy work. I fought the idea for a while, then my writer brain leaned in and said, yes, we are doing this. And in the end, I gave in.

A2R will continue updating on Royal Road as scheduled until Book 1 reaches its end there as well. I am posting this same update on both platforms simply so everyone has the same information and knows what to expect.

When Book 2 is ready to start posting, I will communicate again clearly and early, so there is no confusion.

Sorry for the long update. I honestly tried to shorten it, then I did what I always do and wrote too many words anyway.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for being here.

  Hugs and love.
