“Hahahaha!” A brown haired girl laughed as she held her phone to her ear.
She laid chest first on a soft bed and kicked her knees in the air giddy.
The girl was wearing a green pajama that matched the highlights of her hair and her emerald green eyes.
That girl was Aurora.
She was on the phone with one of her friends, talking and making jokes until something caught her attention.
Ding!
A notification rang and Aurora saw that she had received a message.
— Tristan ??: Meet me at the location in about to send at 3
Aurora silently watched as Tristan sent her the location he wanted her to come to.
She stopped laughing and silently frowned. Her eyes showed a hint of irritation. Along with it, another, inexplicable, emotion flickered inside.
“Hey, I gotta go right now. I’ll talk to you later,” Aurora said casually.
The person on the other end reluctantly said their goodbyes and hung up.
Once the call ended, Aurora looked at the time.
It was 1:59 pm.
Going to her messages with Tristan, she texted back.
— Me: Fine
With that, Aurora jumped up from her bed and began looking for something to wear.
**
‘Hm?’
Tristan stood in front of a river with only railings separating him from it.

The water was calm, unperturbed by anything or anyone.
The sky was clear, the sun was bright, and it was a relatively quiet area.
Tristan wore a white T-shirt with jeans, a certainly unusual outfit considering the cold weather of late fall.
He watched the river silently, not taking his eyes away from the body of water in front of him. As if his eyes were glued to it.
But he was still able to notice the individual approaching him.
“Hey,” Aurora said as she walked towards him.
“Hey,” Tristan said back, still keeping his focus on the water.
Aurora walked to Tristan’s side and gazed upon the water as well.
Through the corner of his eye, Tristan saw that Aurora wore an expensive black jacket with her hoodie pulled over her head.
Then, Aurora pulled down her hood, revealing her stunning features.
However, Tristan had no reaction to this and kept looking upon the water indifferently.
“Why’d you call me here?” Aurora asked, annoyance slightly evident in her voice.
It was a pointless question, only a fool wouldn’t have known.
They needed to discuss the person they had both known for a while.
Thus, Tristan put his hands into his pockets and spoke.
“Why did you cheat on Elliot?” He asked, ignoring Aurora’s question.
Aurora’s facial expression turned slightly detached and uncaring.
She shrugged and said, “It’s not like he did anything wrong. I just needed more attention than what I was getting. I wanted more so I looked elsewhere. I just did…what I felt like I should.”
“You two didn't even date for a month. You couldn’t wait for your relationship to develop before moving on to another guy?” Tristan quickly retorted.
“I didn’t…move on. It’s not like I broke up with him, he chose that on his own. I was just trying to deal with the needs he didn’t meet,” She answered.
Tristan’s eyebrows creased.
“You didn’t even bother to talk to him about it. Did you ever stop to consider how your actions could’ve affected him?” Tristan questioned with an eerily calm tone.
Aurora paused for a moment, then she let out a soft sigh. Her emerald green eyes seemed to dim.
“It was a spur of the moment kind of thing. I didn’t…plan it. Well, it’s whatever. It already happened. Nothing I can do about it now…” She said nonchalantly.
Tristan grasped the inside of his pocket tightly, before releasing it quickly.
“You disgust me,” He spat.
Aurora slightly tensed, and her lip just barely quivered.
Suddenly, Aurora turned to him with a face filled with anger and another deep, unidentifiable emotion.
“Eh? I disgust you? That’s a big surprise coming from you. Aren’t you the guy that doesn’t care about anything? Why do you want to pretend to care now?” Aurora retorted before she turned away from Tristan.
“Don’t talk to me again. Go to hell,” Aurora said as she walked off, leaving Tristan alone in the cold.
Once she left, Tristan finally turned his head away from the river.
To Aurora’s previous spot.
In his eyes, held an unknown emotion.
