Chapter 32

The Sealing and the Release, Twists and Turnarounds

Huang Di began to show visible signs of burns on his skin, an indication that, despite his high resistance to physical damage, he remained vulnerable to elemental abilities. Although he could diminish, absorb, or even repel physical attacks, the Princess’s fire surpassed his limits. Still, he was determined to subdue her without causing serious injuries. He knew that if he pressured her too much, she might use a return amulet, which would complicate matters once they returned to the Golden Crane Sect. Thus, he opted for a subtler and more strategic approach.

However, the Princess’s combat ability surprised him. Only the Emerald Elder had ever managed to corner him in such a way before. As the fight progressed, Huang Di began to notice familiar patterns in the princess’s fighting style, clear echoes of the Elder. Over time, he adapted to her fencing and concluded he could defeat her without using the rune formation he had prepared from the start.

Meanwhile, Umbra and Penelope exchanged relentless blows. The fox used her multiple tails to attack, defend, and confuse the enemy, a characteristic skill of her kind. It was said that the more tails a fox had, the greater her versatility in battle. At one point, Umbra tried to convince her to join them, promising benefits… but Penelope ignored his words, irritated by the suggestion.

Realizing diplomacy was futile, Umbra changed tactics. He began to use the “Ghost Claw” to strike from a distance, forcing Penelope to retreat and adopt a defensive stance. Observing the shift, Huang Di followed suit and activated “Ghost Foot,” moving away from the Princess and gaining tactical advantage. After carefully analyzing her movements, he understood he would win without resorting to the formation, but, to end the confrontation swiftly and avoid future troubles with the young woman’s family, he decided to activate it anyway.

The Princess, for her part, was surprised to see Huang Di capable of flight, something uncommon for a cultivator of the first Earth rank. She herself had not yet mastered natural flight, and though she possessed an artifact for it, she had not brought it to the test, relying entirely on her mount.

Now, with Huang Di dozens of meters away, the Princess was limited. Part of her energy was being used to restrain something inside her, something causing her shame and discomfort. Attacking from afar, in such a state, would be a waste of resources.

At that moment, Huang Di, focusing intensely, made the final seal and shouted:

“Seal the earth, seal the man, seal the sky!”

A fierce wave of energy exploded from his body, consuming half of his spiritual reserves. He had activated a rank 6 formation that sealed all powers and abilities within a radius of 300 meters. In the sky, Umbra and Penelope, over 500 meters above, felt no difference. But Huang Di and the Princess, at the center of the formation, felt their energies brutally suppressed.

Then, the Princess screamed, both angry and surprised:

“What have you done, you fool? You’ve freed her from my control! Hiahiahia, hahaha! Finally free... Now I can play with this handsome one!”

The Transformation and the Challenge: Huang Di and the Succubus

Huang Di watched Princess Di Saba, whose appearance began to distort as if possessed. A sharp scream pierced the air, releasing an energy different from Qi that sent chills down Huang Di’s spine. Umbra and Penelope paused their battle to observe the transformation. Penelope, with a sad and troubled look, contemplated aiding her mistress, but a significant obstacle restrained her.

After a few tense moments, the battle between Umbra and Penelope resumed with renewed intensity. Penelope, eyes burning with fury and urgency, unleashed her trump card: the Lightning Strike skill, combined with the passive ability Speed +. These techniques drastically increased her speed, allowing her to match Umbra’s acceleration in the sky, making his life difficult and, for the first time, managing to capture him, restraining his movements with her tails.

However, Umbra used his Shadow ability, transforming into an ethereal form and escaping into Penelope’s shadow, reappearing behind her and immobilizing her with an embrace, his fangs close to her neck.

Meanwhile, Huang Di received a mental message from Umbra, informing him that he could not assist as he was occupied containing the enemy. Huang Di then witnessed Princess Di Saba’s transformation before his eyes. Her makeup, speech, and posture shifted completely, from a brave and pure princess to an extravagant and exhibitionist woman. Even her clothes changed: from a pristine white dress to a red-purple gown, reflecting a drastic alteration in her appearance.

Recalling the Emerald Elder’s warning about women with dual personalities, Huang Di realized the situation perfectly matched the description. The cold and hot energies emanating from the Princess made him even more alert. Suddenly, he was struck by an even more powerful skill, and the last thing he heard was the Princess screaming:

  “Boundless Libido!”

He was surrounded by images of dozens of women, including those he knew, Mio Hio, Sara, and the three Lu sisters, all displaying tempting sexuality.

Despite the provocation, Huang Di recognized the skill as mental and illusory. He then used his own psychic ability, Mind Control, to resist. However, his energy rapidly drained, and the continuous use of the skill further sealed his powers. With a final effort, he sent a mind control command to the Princess, breaking the illusion and revealing an unbalanced Princess, screaming in pain and beginning to convulse.

From her mouth emerged a purple mist, forming a red being with large breasts, a defined body, a tail, fiery hair, and clad in black knight armor. It was a dream demon, a succubus, glaring at Huang Di with fury.

After the transformation, a voice announced that Huang Di had passed the test, and that now there was an extra challenge with great rewards. If he could subdue the succubus, he would become a VIP MEMBER of the Relic of Space and Time.

The Confrontation with the Demon, Huang Di in Trouble

Umbra received Huang Di’s message, informing him that they had won and that he should release Penelope. Although displeased, Umbra obeyed, and the fox rushed to rescue her unconscious mistress. Huang Di, in turn, received the news of victory, which explained that he had been declared the winner due to the opponent’s disqualification for receiving external assistance, breaking the test’s rules.

However, he was intrigued to notice that his adversary had not been removed from the relic. By using the mind control command, Huang Di gained dominion over the Princess’s body, transforming her into a slave bound to him. This meant that everything belonging to the Princess now belonged to him, including Penelope. The situation became even more complicated with the presence of a being that emerged from the Princess’s body, cursing Huang Di in an unknown tongue.

With only ten minutes to subdue the being, identified as a demon, Huang Di found himself exhausted from previous battles. The creature, of female form, attacked with swords and fire, ignoring the sealing formation Huang Di had created to inhibit the use of Qi. The formation proved ineffective, as the demon did not use Qi as an energy source.

While fleeing from the demon, Huang Di deactivated the formation, consuming even more of his already scarce energy. He then resorted to restorative herbs to accelerate his recovery, increasing his energy regeneration rate from 0.1% to 2% per second. However, with only 25% energy remaining, he knew he needed to end the battle quickly.

The situation was critical: Huang Di was unarmed and weary, while the demon remained at full strength, equipped with powerful weapons. He could not count on Umbra’s help, who was guarding Penelope and the Princess, and he hesitated to use mind control to force the Princess to fight at his side.

Despite the disadvantages, Huang Di resolved to fight with everything he had. He believed in equality of rights, regardless of who his opponent was. After fifteen seconds of retreating, he managed to restore about 60% of his energy and, with a sonic move, surprised the demon, attacking with a barrage of powerful strikes. To his surprise, the enemy’s armor held for a moment before being shattered by his overwhelming strength.

With the armor broken and his blows hitting directly, Huang Di believed the battle was over. Yet the demon, now engulfed in flames and fury, continued to rise, promising an even greater challenge.

The Triumph over the Demon, And a New Journey

The demon, shrouded in an aura of blood and flames, spewed a liquid that ignited spontaneously upon leaving her body. With a fierce yet surprised gaze, she smiled upon realizing that the flames were more effective against Huang Di than physical blows. Thus, she resolved to wield them with even greater vigor, expanding and hurling the fiery torrents at him with violent force.

Meanwhile, Huang Di seized the gaps between attacks to replenish his energy and vigor. He attempted to replicate a tactic used before, but the demon, now more vigilant, guarded her back with incessant flames, forcing him to retreat. The situation grew increasingly chaotic, yet Huang Di knew he had to conclude the battle swiftly. Determined, he pressed forward with all his might in a brief span, seeking to unsettle his opponent’s mind.

He launched an assault using the skill A Sound as a Weapon, sending sonic needles of wind and sound, striving to reproduce the effect he had once achieved against the Iron-Horn Boar, where his abilities combined with flames had created a blazing tornado. However, to his surprise, the flames directed against the demon only healed her. Frustrated, he immediately ceased the attack, while she smiled with satisfaction and intensified her fiery onslaught.

Shifting strategy, Huang Di prepared himself mentally and physically like a sprinter poised to launch into a hundred-meter dash. He darted swiftly, circling the demonic creature, delivering rapid physical strikes before resuming his run, increasing both the speed and power of his punches. Though unable to fully explain the physical principles behind it, he intuited that by elevating his acceleration, even while maintaining his mass, he could generate far more devastating impacts.

With each blow, wounds accumulated on the demon’s body, and on his own, but she suffered far more. Weakened, she began to shrink back, unable to mount an adequate defense. Sensing her imminent defeat, Huang Di mentally prepared himself and, with a fierce headbutt, activated his Mind Control technique, effortlessly subduing her.

In the very next instant, a message echoed in his mind: he had attained VIP user status at the first stage of the Relic of Space and Time.

In the blink of an eye, the scene changed. Everyone had disappeared except for Huang Di.

Umbra, Penelope, the Princess, and even the demon, were sent back into his grimoire, each allocated an individual space, marked as summons. Though he did not yet fully comprehend the meaning of these events, Huang Di felt something akin to it had occurred.

Then, with another blink, Huang Di was teleported to a new location, leaving behind the arena where the battle had unfolded.
