Bonus Content: City Map of Moryven

  City of Moryven

  Population: 2933

The Cross Ward on the west end of the city is the stronghold of the city watch and home to the vast majority of inns, restaurants, and regular businesses, as well as the city's Hunter's Guild. The north and south ends of the district are mostly middle-class homes.

The Market Ward is the bustling center of trade in Moryven, filled with tent-covered open-air bazaars, farmers' markets, and more permanent businesses catering mostly to merchants and traders. The north side of the district is home to the city's upper-middle-class, mostly wealthy merchants and adventurers that haven't been able to elbow their way into the Upper Ward.

The Upper Ward to the north is home to the city's old money patrician families, guild heads, and merchant princes, with wide, evenly cobbled streets. The district is also full of high-end boutique shops specializing in bespoke goods for the wealthy.

The Black Ward to the east is the center of industry and craft in Moryven, full of apothecaries, smithies, tanners, and other loud, smelly businesses. Many of the crafters in the city live on the western end of the ward, but the eastern wall and southeastern quarter are home to the city's poor. The furthest south end of the district contains the city's water purification facility and numerous warehouses.

Finally, the Thorn Ward is a walled-off conclave of mages, theoretically an academy for the study of magic. The Thorn take few students, however, and their influence with the City Council is stout enough to keep the Watch out. Few truly know what the Thorn get up to inside their high walls.
