Bottomless Abyss

Owls scanned the dark forest , it saw a rabbit, a young one looking for its mother . The Owl launched itself proudly knowing it wouldn't eat insects for dinner.

A dark rod tore through the owl—through the rabbit beneath it.

The goddess of destruction twirled around it dancing with her one eyed teddy bear while humming the song golden brown.

The moon peeked through the dark clouds reflecting Jack's eyes .

"We used to dance with Kael barefoot on such a forest ",The goddees beamed.

The Owls flew in a circle above her.

"His in my territory can't I play around with him , he beheaded Akkad so he seems intete-", a dark rod impaled his head before he concluded .

"His my knight not yours , just take the key he got from Akkad ", she returned to her dance .

  "Never....a frown...".

Jack fell from the tree , landing with one leg.

Blood covered his face like a spider web , he grinned as he removed the black rod .

"Yare , yare . As long as he doesn't resist ".

I was woken up my the sound of church music . I stared at the rusted roof for a time before being drawn back to reality by the change in tune.

I saw a note on the bare floor , I tried to reach out to it ,but my body jolted in pain .

I expected worse pain than this but it just felt like a post exercise cramp .

  I read the note :

  Dear Kael,

Thank you for bringing my family back home and for setting Bill free.

I tilted my head toward Rebecca, lying unconscious beside me. A dark seal marked her stomach - almost identical to mine, though mine was fading.

Gazing at my body on the broken wall mirror I saw that I looked like a mummy more especially the eyes.

"I'll go change their bandages , though Kael seems to be healing faster ",she dismissed the kids as she carried a bowl of warm water .

Tana entered the door less room to find that Kael was gone .

The letter she had writen had his blood fingerprints on it . A rush of wind entered the room flooding it with amateurs flowers then it crossed her mind that she had forgotten what it meant to be a woman.

I stood at the edge of the cliff gazing at the endless abyss.

I sighed. The wind blew my hair as if the abyss itself sighed back. My spirit felt at peace as I watched the sky slowly being swallowed by clouds.

I didn't want to process everything that had happened. I just wanted to be alone in my darkness - the only thing that comforted me.

I gazed at the golden key, intricately shaped with a snake coiled around its hole.

"I thank you for lifting the curse in this land sir kael ",the priest said behind me .

"How deep do you think that abyss is ?",I asked.

"Well you'll never know until you jump ",the priest replied getting closer .

"I haven't reached the bottom yet ",I continued gazing at it.

"There is no bottom ",he gave a chill whispere.

I stared at the abyss one more time. It seemed to be smiling at me as well. It gave me the smile of death, and I smiled back.
