That night, we caught up with everyone else, set up camp, ate, and took turns sleeping while the other kept guard. I was now aware thanks to earlier that we needed to do this. When on guard, I would think of earlier when I was attacked and I would shiver. Every shadow in the firelight looked like a man with a dagger behind his back. Sid's words, and the dead look in her eyes when she said them, played on a loop in my head.
Eventually morning came, I was still tired, but it was time to go, so we packed up the tent and ate. Looking around, some had already left; it was no wonder, as we were sleeping in to make up for lost sleep. While leaving, I thought about yesterday. I needed to get stronger.
The land was now mostly flat with a lot of lakes and wetlands off the path, and we walked for what felt like forever, and my feet were beginning to hurt.
Then a blue drake came out of the water, and it came charging at me. I swung my staff from above, hitting it in the head while jumping to the side to dodge it, then, while it was dizzy from the blow, I kept beating it. Eventually, it crawled back into the water. Then Sid said, “Good job, you have improved.” I was proud.
We kept walking for a while, and another drake appeared. I prepared my staff, but it ran past me. I was confused until I saw a huge drake come out of the water chasing the smaller drake. Me and Sid immediately ran away. We kept running for some time, and before we knew it, we were at the city of water.
Entering, I saw that all the buildings were made of brick. I could see a blue palace in the distance, and all the people had blue hair and white skin, very different from the land of wind. We were told that once we made it to the land of water to go to the palace and that they would take care of us, so we did, and were told by a servant that they would let us meet the water dragon tonight, so we rested, exhausted from our travels.
Eventually, night came, and we went to the castle garden, and there was a big blue dragon. Looking around, there were fewer of us than before; there were about twenty-five before, but now there are about twelve. I asked Sid, and she said, “They probably died from drakes or wyverns.”

Then the dragon spoke and said, “Welcome, heroes from another world. Before I give you my blood, I have a request: I want you to kill a drake. Normally, the knights would do it themselves, but this one has grown too large for the knights, and it is threatening the city. If it ever attacks the city, there will be mass casualties, so I ask you to kill this drake.”
Then Merlin said, “Kill a drake sounds easy enough,” but I remembered the drake; it was probably the huge one that we saw earlier. I was scared, but we had to fulfill its request. Fortunately, we didn't have to do it immediately; we could rest for the night.
The next morning, we got up and finally ate something that wasn't dried food. Then we were ready to fulfill the request. Looking around, some had already left, hoping to kill the drake first and thus get the dragon's favor.
Leaving the palace, I was hoping that the Drake had already been killed. But once we left the town, I could unfortunately see a fight in the distance, so we would have to join afterall. We ran towards the fight. I could see spears, swords, arrows, and knives all logged in the drake, but it was still fighting,
I ran up and hit it with my stick, it felt like tapping a stone wall. It just charged toward me. I jumped to the side, dodging it as it stomped on others. I tried to hit it again, but an arrow flew by me, and I heard Merlin yell, “Out of the way!” I turned around and saw Merlin charging towards the drake and Clint holding a bow, shooting arrows at the drake. The Drake tried to tackle Merlin, but he jumped on top of it and stabbed it before retreating. He was pretty good. I tried to hit it with my staff again, but it didn't do much damage.
I felt frustrated that my attack didn't do anything. I thought, this isn't working. Looking around at everyone else fighting, they were having the same problem. I saw that they were all using their weapons. Then a hero got launched back and his cloak flew in the wind, seeing this I thought, wind, then it dawned on me that we all forgot we have wind magic now. So I ran towards the drake and hit it with my staff again, but this time I used wind magic, and at the same time, I hit it, Merlin plunged his sword into it; these blows hit simultaneously, and seemed to finish off the drake after all the damage that had accumulated. We had finished the request.
