The conflict began with the rise of the EL Lords, whose reign ended in catastrophe. Their leader, the Bacterial Lord, was slain by King Mr. Green, who revealed his true identity as Higan, the Barracudo Converter. With his fall, the EL Lords' dominion collapsed, but victory came at an unimaginable cost.
