Slain by a superior opponent during The Quine, no one knew about the secret love for his Lady he’d smothered until it became envy. Though he was hailed as a hero after his defeat, no one knew about the night and half day his Lady spent weeping for her lost hero.

  Skills:

  [Audacity Knight]: Passive - Grants the user a stack of [Audacity] upon entering combat. Grants further stacks of [Audacity] upon performing selfless and/or worthy actions both in and outside of combat.

  ***[Audacity]: Grants bonuses up to a certain point based on level. Stackable buff. Permanent buff. While effects of [Audacity] stacks have a limit, the capacity for the amount of stacks does not.

  [Intricacies of Exaltation]: Changes bonuses gained from [Audacity] stacks to a small bonus to VIT, DEF, and damage reduction. Allies within party deal greater damage to enemies with the [Enraged] debuff. Gain a stack of [Audacity] whenever a party member defeats an enemy. Gain enhanced experience whenever a party member defeats an enemy. Expend a stack of [Audacity] to grant allies increased stamina and mana regeneration, as well as offensive skill cooldown. No cooldown.

  [Intricacies of Engagement]: Changes bonuses gained from [Audacity] stacks to a small bonus to STR, DEX and damage. You deal greater damage to enemies with the [Enraged] debuff. Expend a stack of [Audacity] to grant yourself increased stamina and mana regeneration, as well as offensive skill cooldown. No cooldown.

  [You and Me]: Inflicts [Enraged] when an enemy strikes your shield. Expend a stack of [Audacity] to inflict damage in retaliation.

  ***[Enraged]: Inflicts a debuff that increases damage taken. Enemies who are [Enraged] are more inclined to attack you, and take continuous and mounting damage when attacking anyone who isn’t the one who inflicted them with [Enraged] while [Enraged]. Enemies with sufficient willpower may resist [Enraged].

  [Mighty Escutcheon]: Passive - Empowers your shield to enhance durability according to rarity.

  [Not Today]: Expend a stack of [Audacity] to conjure a shield around an ally. Allies under the effects of [Not Today] have increased stamina regeneration and mana regeneration. Upon taking damage, the damage is absorbed, and the buff expires.

  [True Heart of Devotion] Applicable.

  [Phalanx Demesne]: Conjure a single-sided barrier within your area of influence. Use on yourself to gain [Shield Dam] for a longer cooldown.

  [True Heart of Devotion] Applicable.

  ***[Shield Dam]: Create a large wall of force anytime you raise your shield with the intention to block an attack. Buff lasts for 20 minutes.

  [Aegis Arts]: Attack an enemy with your shield using various methodology.

  


      
  • Method 1: A wide swing of the shield to slam the enemy. Deals moderate to high blunt damage but results in a moderate cooldown.

  • Method 2: A quick and short jab of the shield while keeping your guard up. Stuns the enemy for half a second. Short cooldown, but only usable when an enemy strikes your shield.

  • Method 3: Shield tackle an enemy as an initiation. High chance to stagger the enemy. Deals moderate to high blunt damage but requires a running start.

  • Method 4: Charge with your shield out front. High chance to stagger any enemy struck. You are much harder to stop during this attack. Deals high blunt damage but requires a running start.

  • Method 5: Swing at an enemy with the edge of your shield. Does greater or lesser bludgeoning damage depending on the spot struck.

  [Absolvement]: Expend a stack of [Audacity] to absorb the damage of an ally within your area of influence. Physical and bodily state changes apply. Cannot absorb damage of deceased ally. Cannot absorb damage from a higher leveled ally that outstrips your current vitality. Requires physical contact. Long cooldown.

  [Champion’s Plate]: Conjures heavy armor on the user. Armor grants damage reduction equal to 1.5× current DEF at the time of conjuring. Armor grants damage reduction equal to 0.5× current [Audacity] stacks at conjuring. Expend 3 stacks of [Audacity] to conjure [Champion’s Mantle]. If already wearing armor during conjuring, keeps the effects of the worn armor but adds the effects of and changes the aesthetics to [Champion’s Plate].

  ***[Champion’s Mantle]: Grants minimal healing over time. Grants 1.5× [Audacity] stack gain.

  [Ironclad Will]: You are much harder to move, topple or stagger against your will. Physics still applies to the terrain. Can be broken by an enemy higher level than you. If [Champion’s Mantle] is active, grants a diluted version of this skill to allies within area of influence.

  [Steel Soul]: Passive - Enhances the effects of all armor worn by you. Enhances the effects of [Champion’s Plate]. Enhances the effects of defensive skills and abilities.

  [Unflinching Will]: Grants the user resistance against damage over time effects. Grants the user resistance against immobilizing effects. Can be broken by an enemy higher level than you. If [Champion’s Mantle] is active, resistances are slightly enhanced and grants a diluted version of this skill to allies within area of influence.

  [Sentinal Aura]: Passive-All allies within your party gain damage reduction scaled to your current [Audacity]. If stacks of [Audacity] equal 10 or more, allies within area of influence also gain [Sentinal Bond].

  ***[Sentinal Bond]: Allies with this buff gain reduced cooldown and enhanced Mana and Mana recovery by 5% per ally with [Sentinal Bond] up to a maximum of 5 as long as their areas of influence are intertwined.

  [Coordination]: Expend 3 stacks of [Audacity] to grant all allies within your party increased damage against enemies with the [Enraged] debuff. Expend 5 stacks of [Audacity] to grant you and your allies within your party [Coordinated Assault] if at least one enemy on the battlefield is inflicted with [Enraged].

  *** [Coordinated Assault]: Immunity from magical friendly fire from other allies with [Coordinated Assault]. Grants telepathic communication with other allies with [Coordinated Assault]. Grants limited sharing of Vaults between all allies with [Coordinated Assault]. Vault sharing must be consensual. Buff lasts as long as there is at least one enemy on the battlefield inflicted with [Enraged].

  [Challenging Moxie]: Expend a stack of [Audacity] to inflict [Enraged] on all enemies within 10 meters of you. Gain a stack of [Audacity] for every enemy inflicted with [Enraged].

  [Insurmountable Wall]: Expend 2 stacks of [Audacity] to become invincible for as long as the skill is active, for a maximum of 2 minutes. Unable to move for as long as [Insurmountable Wall] is active. Upon the skills deactivation, reduced damage reduction for as long as the skill was active.

  [Audacity Tempering]: Expend varying stacks of [Audacity] to enhance other facets of your power. Limits apply.

  [Heavy Blitz]: Passive – Enhances blunt damage. Enhances medium-length weapon damage. Enhances grappling strength. If your STR is greater than your DEX, grants additional bonus to blunt and heavy weapon damage commensurate to the difference between stats. Maximum value commensurate with levels in [Martial: Smite].

  [Burst]: Fire an energy wave from your sword to strike at a distance. Does minimal damage. Inflicts [Enraged]. Expend a stack of [Audacity] to increase damage.

  • [Spike Pop]: Puffy pushes their spines out with force, shooting spines all around them in a burst. Enemies struck by the spines are inflicted with [Puffy’s Poison].

  *** [Puffy’s Poison]: Causes damage over time. Slows the enemy and causes difficulty breathing. More stacks causes mounting damage, and after a certain amount, causes complete paralysis.

  [Perforating Palisade]: Puffy trusts you with their life. Puffy is absorbed into your spirit, becoming one with your very will. Your armor gains enhanced damage reduction. Your shield gains enhanced damage reduction. Both your shield and armor gain spines that excrete [Puffy’s Poison]. Able to use Puffy’s [Spike Pop].

  ***[Perforating Palisade] is a limited buff skill. It lasts for one-hundred and eighty seconds. Certain conditions can enhance or decrease the time.
