Whoosh! Whoosh!
A powerful gust of wind roared, rushing out from the ground itself. The swirling hum of the formation echoed throughout the hall.
The old man stood atop a pillar, looking down at Arther.
“Under the decision of the Chief of the Executioner’s Hall, you will be sent to the Goblin Lands. However, considering your chances of survival, we have concluded that the potions we promised are unnecessary. They would only buy you a few seconds before you die.”
Thud!
Arther crashed to the ground, landing on his knees.
“What? What the hell is even going on?!” he screamed, his eyes blazing with anger.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
A guard clad in armor had kicked him from behind.
This anger might be troublesome, the old man thought.
“Restrain him!” the old man ordered.
The same guard immediately grabbed Arther’s hands from behind, forcefully pulling them together.
“Ahhhrg!” Arther struggled, trying to pull his hands free.
He was restrained by the knight, his hands forcefully held behind his back. In a kneeling position, he had no leverage from his lower body.
Meanwhile, the violent gust of wind subsided.
Swirl! Swirl!
Whoooosh!
With a thunderous roar, a formation rapidly expanded beneath him, with Arther at its center. It grew larger and larger until it reached twelve meters in diameter.
Hundreds of tiny points appeared within it, interconnected by glowing lines—like stars linked together by delicate threads.
Butler Harin Lavarno immediately retreated, his eyes lingering on Arther for a moment before turning away.
Arther clenched his teeth as he stared at the formation beneath him.
“It is time for our young master to set foot in the Goblin Lands. Good luck, young master,” the old man said with a mocking smile, loud enough to be heard even outside the courtroom.
“You bastards! What is a goblin? What is that sh—!”
Before he could finish, several strands of golden energy shot out from the formation, sealing his mouth and rapidly spreading across his body.
It was sudden and fast.
The strands quickly wrapped around him, forming a cocoon that trapped him completely.
“What the hell is happening? Am I really reborn in a fantasy world?! Ahhh!”
Thousands of tiny golden particles rushed into the cocoon.
Tooosh!
The cocoon exploded.
Arther was gone.
