Chapter 16 – Ants in a jar.

  Day 101 FC:

After a wild night and going for ten rounds, Tharid Evile woke up the day and flirted on the bed for a while befetting up and cheg the ges in their attributes.

Tharick released ten times, ing ten years of his life per go, but increased his Mental Strength by 2 each time, which was about four times more than before.

However, the one who beed the most was undoubtedly Evile, whose skin was glossy and radiated good health, her red hair silky smooth, and her emerald eyes had a brilliant shine. Of course, the most signifit ge was her attributes.

  S Results(Evile):Attributes:

  Physique: 61 -> 91Life Force: 102 -> 132Magic Power: 126 -> 158Mental Strength: 58 -> 65

Evile could hardly believe how much she gained from just one night of pleasure. While not as impressive as Tharick's growth rate, she was, after all, a human, not a Tentacle Monster. Uharick, she could improve via meditation, and every external increase to her attributes signified an improvement in her base talent, and her maihod of improvement was still meditation. And except for Divination and Evocation, all her affinities rose by a whole 3%! It might not sound like much right now, but she would have sex with Tharick every night!

"Wouldn't that mean I have 100% Transmutation Affinity after a month?!" Evile excimed in a mixture of shod excitement.

"Aw... Now you won't have to rely oo up after you wet the bed." Tharick feigned sadness.

"Oh, shush. Let me be happy!" Evile pouted.

"Okay, my princess. I shall gdly sacrifice 3,000 years for your happiness." Tharick dramatically said, as if willing to cut open his chest to offer his heart.

"Says the immortal and perverted Tentacle Monster, who recover that amount within a few weeks and improve his mental strength at a ridiculous rate while at it." Evile rolled her eyes.

"Hey, you lose some, you gain some." Tharick shrugged.

"That aside, it seems like your schedule would be to eat for half of the day from now on, hah?" Evile asked.

"I o e over 200kg of magically produced bnd food a day now, so yes." Thariodded.

"I saw that you have two mouths on your tentacles... 't you eat with those while you study?" Evile asked.

"That is an iing question! I think so." Thariodded and decided to try it today.

Tharick theed the house, but he saw something that bewildered him upoering the yard.

"Evile! You might want to e see this!" Tharick called out.

  "What?" Evile's curiosity iqued.

When she looked outside, she saatch of flrowing in front of their house, colorful aiful.

"Aw... So pretty!" Evile was immediately happy. She always wanted a flower bed.

"But I don't recall us growing flowers?" Tharick pointed out.

"Oh, shush. Let me be happy for a moment!" Evile childishly said as she bent down to look and smell the flowers.

"Enjoy. I will go look for any other ges." Tharick said and crawled away.

"Just don't crush the flowers!" Evile reminded.

"Yes, yes..." Tharick helplessly waved his hand.

While avoiding crushing any poor flower, Tharick sed the surroundings before finding arange point. The trees he previously cut down with Manufacture were regrowing, showing the growth adva of about 4 months.

"... Did a fairy or pixie e visit st night?" Thariarrowed his eyes.

He quickly deduced that the cut-down trees attracted a Fey to his house. However, the Feyfolk was not something one could run into in any forest. A grim realization dawned on Tharick.

"Oh... crap. We are in a Mystical Forest!" Tharick shuddered.

Mystical Forests were the domain of the Fey, strange and alien magical creatures that inated from the imagination of mortals and woodnd creatures. Each Mystical Forest was ruled by a matriarch called a Fey Queen, all at the level of an Archmage. Furthermore, the Fey Queen was semi-omnist within the forest, meaning she likely already saw him.

"Did the old bastard have a deal with a Fey Queen?! And why didn't she e to deal with an abomination like me? And who sent the Fairy or Pixie? Was it just a ce?" Tharick racked his head, feeling a headache ing.

Being an Orthodox Wizard from a Magic Tower, Tharick learned about the basic history of the Fey as part of his curriculum. They were some of the most a magical beings iire world, and wizards often made deals with them. He didn't doubt that Zefaris perhaps used this pce as a trading hub for making deals with the local Fey Queen or other Fey Nobility. That would also expin how he got his hands on some of his ingredients.

However, Tharid Evile were now stu this strange realm with no way out, like ants in a jar. He khat the only hope of getting out was to explore the forest! But to do that was to fall uhe scrutinizing gaze of the Fey Queen.

"Wait... By cutting those trees, I just stole from the forest without permission. Doesn't that mean I owe it a favor?!" Tharick shuddered, remembering a point about Fey Culture.

The Fey were bound by a set of magical rules, but those rules also gave them magical authority iurn, and one of them was the ability to request a favor.

These favors could be as silly or simple as making a stupid dance or w for a day. And they could be harsh things such as kidnapping children or killing someohey could even turn you into a stoatue for an indefiime at a random date while still ing your lifespan.

To cut down trees without permission was sidered stealing from the Mystical Forest, a somewhat se collective. Stealing required a big favor to be repaid.

While Tharily used the old trees for this, he still didn't ask for permission from the forest, which was agaiiquette. Furthermore, he used those trees... to make a pool.

The best way to repay this was trow the trees. But how many years would it take him trow them without using Nature Magic? The only other solution was to fulfill a task given by the forest's residents, the Fey. If he didn't fulfill the task, the forest would force him to repay one way or the other.

So when he saw the trees being regrown, he uood the creature that entered his ward was helping him.

"But why? Fey creatures never help for free. Did they take something?" Tharick deduced.

Being bound by their magical ws, the Fey were not allowed to steal. However, they had a workaround, and that was to trade, and they didn't o ask for permission. To them, a Gold and a shiny shirt button might have the same value. Helping him regrow the trees and avoid owing a favor would require him to trade something they vierecious. As frowing the flowers at the entrance of their house, that was showing their gratitude- or perhaps a prank.

"But what could ihem?" Tharick frowned.

With his new and disturbing findings, he returo Evile and expihe situation. After hearing what he had to say, Evile shrugged and replied.

  "Then don't try to."

  "N?" Tharick was taken aback.

"Yes, don't try to. In this situation, we should just pretend like everything is fine. If our little forest friend decides to show itself, it will show itself. If not, so be it. All we o do is respect the forest, and it will respect us." Evile expined.

"I hate to admit this, but that makes a lot of seharick sighed.

And so, the pair decided to igheir mysterious visitor and tiheir hermit-like yet fulfilling life.

During the day, Tharick would focus oing while either studying magic to practice his trol over his Wild Magic. Meanwhile, Evile would cook or study magid in the evening, they would go for ten rounds before sleeping. On the day, they would discover that the trees outside had grown by several months more, and they received either flowers or their fruit trees were beginning to bloom.

Sihey didn't discover anything missing, they slowly let down their guard and stopped g. As for the creature iion, it was almost too happy to help and grew bolder by the day, even daring to observe their daily lives. After all, it beed it so much! However, it was also shocked when it observed Tharick.

"What is that creature harick? How is it rec its Magic Power and Life Force so effortlessly by eating food? But isn't the jured food it's eating yucky and bnd? Maybe it would be happier if I grew some magic vegetables for it?" The creature thought.

And from that day, there atch of nd where it was cultivated and growing magic vegetables, much to the delight of Evile. With additional food, Tharick also started enjoying some of the food Evile cooked, albeit for taste. It made their secluded life a tad more colorful.

In a beautiful garden near a magic tower decorated with signs of the sun, moon, and stars-

A heavily pregnant woman sat before a dignified aiful female wizard while drinkihe pregnant woman looked at the female wizard as if looking at her best friee meeting for less thay minutes.

"Thank you for telling me everything, Ms. White." The female wizard smiled.

"It is an honor, Mistress Mizith. I hope you rescue Sir Tharid Miss Evile." Bria gently smiled, her eyes a bit unfocused.

"Oh, I will try my best. Have an easy birth, Ms. White. Phelyn, ess. White back to her room, please." Mizith said aured to a curvaceous and young-looking female wizard, who escorted Bria away.

Mizith calmly draea, and a while ter, Phelyurned and respectfully bowed.

"Mistress, all of the thirteen women gave simir information even under charm spells. Uheir memories were tampered with, it is likely correct." Phelyn said.

"They didn't want to say anything sihey were afraid, especially after being warned by the apprentiamed Evile. But while they didn't know much, it was enough to deduce what happened. Zefaris, that dementianiac, got lucky and transformed a funing human being into an immortal Aberant creature. He then tried natural reprodu to create more samples, but he didn't anticipate the women would carry human children." Mizith calmly said.

"But there are some important points. These women have abnormally high Physique, Magic Power, and Life Force. They cimed it was due to iing the liquid shot by Tharick. Ae his transformation, he was quite sane, albeit lustful. That would categorize him as Safe." Phelyn said.

"Yes, but he is the exception, not the norm. When Zefaris attempts to recreate it, even if he miraculously succeeds, he will iably suffer a mutation with ive sequences. If things go awry, we might face a level 8 or even level 9 catastrophe if left unchecked, requiring an Archmage to resolve it." Mizith said with a solemn look.

"Mistress, I also retly lost tact with a friend of mine. She went together with several others to iigate Zefaris's tower." Phelyn voiced her .

"sider her dead, then. I shall gather the others and we will storm Zefaris's tower even if we must demolish it." Mizith said and took out a unication crystal.
