I stretched on my bed as I used my hands to rub my eyes to drive out the sleep, I had a nice sleep but had to start getting ready for the day. A part of me did not want to get up from the bed but I had things to do, I had made arrangement with Mei Mei the previous day to go shopping together for final preparations for school was to resume next week. we had to move to the dorms on Monday, we had planned to stay together in one dormitory with Ningyi but yesterday I decided to spend some money and retain a dorm just for the two of us. It's better to avoid any drama, right now I just want peace and quiet to adjust to my new reality and it will be easier for both of us to adjust as we were both majoring in business administration, we do have companies to inherit after all so there was not much choice to be made but I am going to minor in dance while Mei Mei minors in languages.

  I picked up my phone to check for any message from her and I was surprised to see a message from Han Jingsen instead, it was not much just a simple 'Good morning.' but I was surprised not the lest. It took me a while to reply with a good morning of my own and I let out a smile as I could tell he was trying to make this situation we find ourselves in work out as I did not need to be a detective to know this was out of character for him. I called Mei Mei and just when the call was about to disconnect she picked up with a sleepy voice saying 'Hello.' 'Wake up sleepy head, lets grab breakfast together before going shopping.'

  'You should not be calling me this early, I need my beauty sleep.' she whined and I let out a smile at her behavior, she was the youngest among us and also the youngest in her family so she was spoiled rotten but that does not mean she was not kind. 'But if I don't wake you up on time how will you have enough time to prepare because we all know you need time to dress up and get ready for the day. Rise and shine princess, don't keep me waiting.'

  She laughed at my response, 'I'm awake and you can't blame me, I need my beauty sleep and beauty routines while dressing up, perfection takes time.' I laughed and ended the call. Getting up, I started preparing for the day because as my wise friend just said, perfection takes time. I found out that my grandfather already left for work and dropped a text to Mr. Lee to ensure he has his breakfast and take his drugs. while walking to my car I saw Han jingsun sent me another message, it simply read. 'Any plans for today?'

  I replied, 'Going shopping with my friend Mei Mei as we are moving into our dorm on Monday and need some necessities.' 'Okay, I will drive you to school then, text me the time.' It was unexpected but since I already decide to marry him, I replied, 'Okay. How about you, any plans for today?'

  'Just work, arrived in the office early today as I have a mountain of documents to run through, the notice of the upcoming wedding is making every party show their true colors. Some are scared about the changes it may cause and are trying to set stumbling blocks hoping to stop it.'

  'Really, is it that serious, what do we do then. Should we call off the wedding if it's causing this much trouble.' I waited for his reply but got nothing, it was obvious the message had delivered so why has he not replied yet. Is he offended or busy, just when I was about to send him another message my phone rang and I saw it was a call from him, I answered while wandering why he called. 'Hello' I said.

  There was a pause before he said, 'Nobody can stop this wedding, I have decided on you as my wife and you have accepted. The only person that can change this path now is you but no matter what anybody says or do, they can not change this. You don't have to be concerned about any of that, I have measures already put in place to handle it, just know that our future path lies solely on what you decide.'

  I was stunned at what he said and my heart skipped a beat, it was not a declaration of undying love or anything like that, it was the pure certainty in the statement that astounded me. He had chosen and nobody could shake his decision, it was nice to know that he accepted this wedding and was not just going along with what his elders wanted. I did not know how to reply and only said 'Okay.' 'I will talk to you later, have fun while shopping, will see you at dinner on Friday.' then he ended the call.

  I was lost in thought trying to digest what just happened when my phone rang again, it was Mei Mei. 'Hi, am ready lets meet at our usual breakfast sport.' she said as soon as I answered. 'Okay.' I grabbed my keys and purse and headed out deciding to leave everything up to fate and just go with the flow.

  She hugged me and immediately clung onto my hand as soon as I walked toward where she was sitting and could only let out a sigh, when Mei Mei wants a hug just give in to her because there is no point in resisting. 'How are you, you promised to tell me all the tee about what happened between you and brother Hanbing. Where you got that hot fiancé from, how long have you guys been together and the dorm mistress messaged me that we have both been moved to a dorm of our own, what about Ningyi?'

  I raised my hands saying calm down and ask these questions one at a time, give me enough time to respond will you.' she nodded her head cutely and held my hands again as I continued, 'And lets place an order before we start shall we.' she nodded again and I smiled.
