A tattered remnant of a two year Occupy Earth Rebellion, part of the long worldwide protracted revolt against the Oligarchy on the streets of an east coast city, begun by the scientific community and quickly spreading to all parts of the planet. Some that were able to get out of the contested zone during a final deadly assault found Zeniths shelter in an abandoned city library, becoming inhabitants first, then members of the Wordsmiths Keep, a closely knit motley group of mostly artists who slowly began fashioning a future reality that no one, despite some smatterings of genius among them, could have foreseen. The written journal, found ten years later in a locus devoted to saving all great printed works, is a testament to those remainders hanging on to the thinnest thread of hope despite a constant barrage of threatening and fatal assaults and impossible odds.
