Zeke Beaumont, aged 15, is a Freshman in the boarding high-school Aethelgard International Academy and the role of being the successor of his parents was brought upon him. He had wanted to live a low-maintenance life regarding the burden of potential and responsibility. This leads to him isolating himself from socializing, succeeding, and even motivation. Deeming Zeke an uneventful, boring person that goes far beyond the typical introverted loner.Zeke is content with his gray and slothful life, it feels good to know that there are no stakes that come with it. Laziness has become his greatest defense mechanism to prevent meaningful accomplishments. This philosophy will soon be proven wrong, as he cruises through the school year, he meets new people that makes him question social constructs, his own philosophical idealism, and the potential risks that come with those interactions.
