Samantha (name still in beta) Spaulding is having a rough year: she''''s trans, unemployed, disabled, and living on her best friend Anya''''s couch. When she finds the perfect apartment in the city she doesn''''t ask many questions, even though it seems too good to be true. She signs a lease and moves in, ready to start her new life at last. But then she meets Amy, Inara, & Mattie: the three distractingly beautiful women in the unit above hers. It''''s not that Sam MINDS having three stunning girls living upstairs, but she needs to be up for her new job at the coffee shop on the corner by 4 am. And it turns out that the ceiling separating her home from theirs is *extremely* poorly insulated. How is she supposed to get a good night''''s sleep when these three thirsty nocturnal sluts can''''t keep their private bedroom activities...ehrm...private! Now Sam is struggling to hold down her new job, when she can barely keep her eyes open, thanks to the increasingly alluring temptation of the girls upstairs, who either don''''t know--or don''''t care--that Sam can hear every little thing they''''re doing to each other. If anything, they seem...excited...about inviting the new girl into their lives. "I can''''t sleep because the goddesses in the apartment above me are so thirsty for each other" is a smutty, silly, spin-off of The Egg Prime Directive. It follows the Alternate Universe adventures of the goddesses Ame-no-Uzume, Inari Ōkami, and Amaterasu Omikami, and their unsuspecting downstairs neighbor who just needs a little magic to help her finally get her life going in the right direction! NOTE: this is a deeply unserious thing, and will be updated very infrequently. I had to write the first chapter just to get it out of my head, after making a joke about there being AU fanfic of these goddesses in a footnote in The Egg Prime Directive. My current priority is still finishing the rewrites of that book, but since this one decided to start living rent free in my brain I figured I''''d put some of down, just to keep it from gumming up the works.
