We need to evolve, this has to be in a matter of months, we still have access to the path only 1 person can walk. We can’t go in groups but we can 1 by 1. Me first and then Hana. I still wonder if I am still going to be able to hear the Great Voice of this world again.

You need to evolve for a few evolution stages so, you take the short path”- Hana and I looked at each other for a few minutes and then we parted ways. I don’t know why I stared at her for that long. Time to go, Hikaru, time to kill some monsters and level up.
“Ok, where do I begin Sia?”- I looked around me to find the whole forest path quiet

I think Sia will announce to me when a monster is close to me so I will try to get sleep for the time being.
!Sleeping is not indicated. On the longer path monsters will come at you more often than on the short path. There is a group of monsters 200 meters from us that is approaching this pce at a fast pace!
“Well, let’s see what they have!”
I walked the 200 meters until the group of monsters attacked me. I was prepared this time. My shadow tendrils were ready to pierce the monsters. One thing that I learned from a previous fight with higher-level enemies than me is that I have to strike in their weak spots as fast as possible.
There were around 30 monsters in that group, I had to make more shadow tendrils for all of them.

Sia showed me a visual representation of where I should strike the monsters to kill them instantly, I just copied the moves shown to me by Sia.
“How many monsters do I need to kill to evolve?”

It looks like I will be stuck here for a while. I wonder what Hana is doing?

I waited around for more monsters to appear, it’s very boring to wait around, maybe I should try remembering something from my old world, but why should I try to do that? No matter.

I readied my shadow tendrils to strike, I conjured up as many as I could to defeat all the monsters that I could find.

Well, monsters don’t seem to be plentiful here at all. I hope Hikaru is doing well on his side.

Seems like monsters are approaching me, in low numbers.
I thought of a thing, I would just deploy shadow tendrils near me as some sort of trap for the monsters that are to come. I have a bad feeling about waiting around for the monsters.

I am just getting bored just waiting around for monsters to come, I must go to them.
I made a risky move and went off the path; sure enough, the monsters were there. It seemed like the monsters were waiting for me to come to them, no matter what, I had my shadow tendrils ready to attack them.
The monsters on the long path were fast, but I managed to cut them in time. From where I am it seems like the monsters are never ending.
“Sia, tell Hana to do the same thing as I do!”

It had been 7 days since we entered the path, and I couldn’t keep track of all that happened there, all I know is that the 2 of us exited the path and met, and from there we both colpsed.

We woke up in the Nation of Monsters, Fumiko and Ayame were looking out for us.
“I thought you 2 were dead”- Ayame was relieved that we were alive.
“You guys went missing for 7 days and didn’t come back, so we went to check on you and found you 2 on the ground”- Fumiko looked extremely worried, it looked like this caused her a big shock.
“Sia, what happened?”- My head hurts a lot, I don’t know what happened exactly.
!You and Hana power leveled. For short, you evolve multiple stages at once, this puts a great strain on your body. On a good note, the two of you gained new skills, instrumental skills at that!
“We are ok now Fumiko, no need to worry for us. We are interested if there is anything new about King Wieka’s actions”- Hana smiled and got out of bed. My head hurts too much to even move
“Well, not now. But they pn to use the otherworlders to fight the 2 of you. You 2 must convince your cssmates that fighting is not worth it. I want you 2 to do this as fast as possible!”
Damn it, that’s nasty. I guess King Wieka won’t stop here.
No matter, I am curious to see how our stats have improved.
