2 days ter:

  We arrived in Admaris in time. The only thing that we need to do is wait at the gates. There is a big line and we don’t want to look suspicious while we are here.

  I made sure to activate our disguise skills before standing in line.

  “Next!”- The guards shouted. There were 3 or so people ahead of us.

  15 minutes or so ter the guards came and were about to check us.

  “So, what did you come here to do?”- He took a long look at our adventurer cards

  “Well, we want to get some more party members, and we decided to come here”- Hana will do all the talking this time.

  In the meantime, I should see if there is anyone watching or following us. I sent my shadow tendrils everywhere. One thing that I haven’t mentioned about my shadow skills, they can detect presence, I didn’t realize it but a few days ago that shadow magic and shadow-reted skills have an honing function attached to them that makes them move to the target and change direction, something that is very hard to do with normal skills or spells.

  “We will be fine, we are just building our party. We will only take low-rank quests”- Hana and I continued to walk. We arrived in front of the adventurer’s guild.

  “I think someone told you about some rich clients coming. We are here”- We still have our disguise on. I can see monsters of all races in the cages. All of them look terrified to see us.

  “Hana, time to use your skill!”- Hana nodded.

  She began controlling the mind of the sve merchant. I still don’t know how the skill works when you do it but she managed to make him give us the key.

  “Good job”- I grabbed the key and started to unlock the cages.

  “All of you. We will go outside the city. But first, we need the help of a few people here”- Hana is looking around at the monsters who have gathered in a circle around her.

  “What is it? But most importantly, why did you save us?”- A taller woman, she looked like she belonged to the Lizard people or Dragonoid race.

  !Correction, she belongs to the Lizard people race. She is an evolved form of that species that has a more human form, she looks almost like a human. The only difference is her eye color which is different from those of the human race. Golden eye color is not in the human genetic code!

  “I understand.”

  “Well, we don’t want to scare you, but I think you should know this. We want to save all the monsters here. We want to create a world where both humans and monsters can live together in peace. There is more information that I don’t want to reveal yet”- Hana is doing all the talking right now.

  “This seems suspicious, why would a human want to help a monster?”- The same woman spoke again.

  “Sorry, Hikaru, deactivate your skill”- Hana looked at me. The crowd turned their gaze on me and stared. I deactivated Lucifer. The monsters looked shocked when our monster features came to light the monsters took a step back.

  “Ok, now this raises more questions. What is a Kijin and Arch Demon of all monsters coming to save us? Strong monsters such as yourselves would be bound to a very powerful Demon Lord.”- The woman took a defensive stance in front of the crowd looking straight at us

  “Well, in fact, the 2 of us are Demon Lord Sproutling holders. We have a pn for all of this. But I will need to help of at least 10 of you”- Hana is starting to appeal to those people, maybe they want to listen to us more because of the Demon Lord Sproutling or they might be even more scared of us because of it.

  “If what you say is true, then I guess we would have to listen to you 2”- What is that? Why did the woman say that?

  !Monsters here are obligated to listen to anyone that is a Demon Lord of Demon Lord Sproutling holder, they are unable to disobey their commands and will get hurt if they don’t listen!

  “I didn’t know that existed.”

  “Look, I want your help because you want to help, not because you have no other choice but to obey us. We will give them the freedom to choose for all of you. After we are done here you will be escorted to a nation filled with monsters just like you.”- The crowd is now whispering among one another what to do.

  “I will stay here and help. I am the least noticeable when it comes to blending in with humans. But please, let the others go”

  “We promise. Now, we should exit the city. There is an unguarded area not far from here.”

  It took a little bit more convincing than I thought it would, I won’t bore you with detail.

  We exited the capital and entered the woods.

  “What are we doing here?”- The monsters looked at us and the forest.

  “We will set up camp here. We will help you make improvised shelters here.”

  We spent the entire day just making shelters for the monsters, we had help from them but by the time night fell we managed to shelter all the monsters.
