We arrived at the monster nation again, but this time we may need an engineer to build the mana machine blueprints that King Admaris has sent us. Hana and I were looking over them to see if we could build them.

  One more thing, after leaving we told Admaris the location of the monster nation. He told us that he would bring engineers here to work with us on this but it took them longer than expected to arrive. We spoke with the Amarok and all the other guardian monsters to escort them here once they see them. I hope they aren’t too scared to come here now.

  “How long do you think it will take them to arrive?”- Hana sat on the ground looking at the sky with a smile on her face.

  “Well, I think a few more days. My calcutions were wrong about the time it would take them to arrive. They are humans and tired out quicker than us monsters. It’s fair to give them a little more time to arrive”- I sat on the ground near Hana and leaned on her shoulder. I don’t know if it’s a good time for us to have some time for ourselves, but it won’t hurt.

  “We are going to rest for a bit then we gonna go and see what the others are doing. We should help as much as we can.”- Hana wrapped her hand around me. It’s kinda weird, I never felt like this, I rarely do this, and Hana is the only person who did this for me. I feel more comfortable this way, I feel better about myself.

  We talked a bit more and 20 minutes passed. We got up and strolled around the monster nation to see if there was anything the monsters needed our help with.

  “Hey there Chief!”- The chief of the vilge saluted us.

  “Hey there Hikaru. Well, we don’t need that much help. We only need names now. We can handle everything on our own. First, you can start with me”- The chief grinned and looked at me with anticipation.

  “Sure, your name will be Syu”- I felt dizzy after naming him, it was like I was about to colpse again.

  And I did. I colpsed and entered mana recovery mode again.

  3 days ter:

  I woke up with my head throbbing. It’s bad. Now I have to name all the other monsters that are in the vilge.

  With my head still hurting I named everyone in that vilge. And I fainted again, 3 more days were spent recovering.

  I woke up after 3 more days with Hana by my side. She had a frown on her face.

  “You are awake. So, stop going on naming sprees like this Hikaru, it is hurtful for you. Just try to name them, recover for a day, and then name them again. I also helped with the naming process a bit. I named the rest of the monsters you couldn’t name and gave you a potion to recover faster. You should be more careful how you do things”- Hana patted my head and then I got up and I was ready. Well, almost the headache that I have still isn’t going away, this time is stronger.

  #Skill received: Pain Immunity#- Sounds useful. After a few seconds, the pain in my head seems to disappear.

  !Notice: The skill didn’t make the pain go away, you can’t feel the pain anymore, that’s what the skill does. It stops you from feeling pain but it doesn’t make it go away.!

  “Thanks, Sia”

  I went outside to see 10 humans that I didn’t recognize.

  !Those are the engineers from the kingdom of Admaris!

  “You 10 must be the engineers right?”- I looked at them, and they looked back at me in fear.

  “Yes, we came here under the king’s instructions”- One of them shakily handed me a letter from King Admaris.

  Long story short it said that we should take care and bring some smaller-size prototypes there once we finish the big ones here. It also says that we should help the engineer with any research that they have. Seems easy enough.

  “Well, you can begin here. If you need anything just ask for help and we will give it to you”- I smiled and then gave them the blueprints. Hana exited the tent that I was holding in as well and then pointed to a big warehouse the monsters had built.

  “Over there are the materials you will need to build the machines. If you need someone to do the heavy lifting any of us monsters will do it. Just ask us”- Hana smiled at them as well.

  “OK, we will need some wood and metal. We will teach you the shapes, they are pretty easy to make.”- The engineers were still scared but they were willing to work with us.

  “Sure, come on Hikaru, we have work to do!”

  We did as the engineers said. We brought the metal and wood to them. We did as they said, chopped the wood, bent the metal and the sort.

  The thing that they are building seems like some sort of windmill.

  “Is that some sort of mana-powered mill?”- I got close to the foundation of the machine.

  “Yes. It’s a double mill as we call it. You can use both wind and mana to make flour here.”- One of the engineers spoke proudly.

  “Interesting. These will be a big help. Thank you guys”- They didn’t expect this response, especially from a monster. Most of them were in shock after what they heard.

  “Well, I am going back to get more wood”

  I gathered more wood, and some pieces of metal just in case they needed them. I don’t know from where we have metal but it certainly is helpful to have it.

  After a few more hours we managed to build the first Mana Mill. I installed the mana core with my shadow tendrils and then started it for the first time and made some flour.

  All in all this day was the best that we ever had in my opinion. Tomorrow there is more work, but I feel like I am doing something good for once
